Differences training

Upskill or learn how to fly a more complex aircraft, I can help you with variable pitch propellers and retractable undercarriage differences training.

Check rides & conversions

Do you run a club or syndicate? Are you looking to join one? I can conduct club check-rides and offer training to ensure your members are all trained to the same standard.

General skills refresher

When did you last do a PFL, glide approach, steep turn or EFATO? Practising general skills and procedures makes you a better pilot, no matter how much experience you have. I’ll help you to keep sharp, honed and most importantly, SAFE.

Proficiency check training

Coming back to flying after a break? Or maybe you don’t have enough hours to revalidate your SEP by experience? I’ll help you get ready for a proficiency check with an examiner.

Moving maps

New to the world of moving maps? I’ll help you learn how to use SkyDemon, Garmin Pilot or Foreflight safely and effectively, including how to integrate software and avionics, when and when not to use moving maps and what to do if it all goes wrong.

NPPL SEP Rating

The Microlight Rating allows you to fly modern, lightweight aircraft that are cost-effective and ideal for recreational flying, while the SEP Rating covers single-engine piston aircraft (up to 2,000 kg MTOW), such as the Piper Warrior, making it perfect for those moving up from microlights or returning to general aviation. I offer an in-depth SEP training programme aligned with the PPL syllabus. Expect at least 5 hours of flight training covering all relevant topics.

Learn how to use Garmin avionics, including setup and control, simple direct-to routing, planning, sharing and filing. From Navigation to Comms, Autopilot and engine management.
