Radio Kidz
You might be under the impression that churches are dull, boring, lifeless, cold
and not an inspiring place for young people...well if you thought this, you can not
be further from the truth when it comes to Springbourne Community Church in Dorset.
Springbourne Community Church is home to a fantastic project, “Radio Kidz”. An online
christian radio station, run by entirely by young people.
The studio, featuring a Sonifex mixer, Denon CD players, Tanoy monitors and a full
version of ENCO DAD at its heart rivalles and even beats most local radio stations.
Standing behind the custom built woodwork in the soundproof basement of the church,
presenters can broadcast music, interviews, stories and christian youth programming
to the world. They can even take live feeds from the main church PA system, ensuring
that their station is an integral part of the community.
